Data Import

Visualizing data from various data sources is one of MyDraw's strongest features. MyDraw can import flowcharts and organizational charts from Excel, display and edit family tree data in GEDCOM format, and import ESRI maps. This makes MyDraw a versatile visualization tool for many tasks.

Flowcharts imported from Microsoft Excel®

With MyDraw you can import flowcharts that are defined in Microsoft Excel® spreadsheets. The format in which the data is organized in the Excel spreadsheets is the same as the format expected from the similar Microsoft Visio® features. This makes it possible to use MyDraw to display Excel flowcharts data, that is originally designed to be displayed with Microsoft Visio®

Organizational Charts imported from Microsoft Excel®

With MyDraw you can import organizational charts that are defined in Excel spreadsheets. The format in which the data is organized in the Excel spreadsheets is the same as the format expected from the similar Microsoft Visio® features. This makes it possible to use MyDraw to display Excel organization charts data, that is originally designed to the displayed with Microsoft Visio®

Family Trees in GEDCOM format (import and export)

With MyDraw you can import family tree data in GEDCOM format. The imported family trees can be further visually edited and later saved again in GEDCOM format. This makes MyDraw a serious tool for GEDCOM data visualization and editing.

ESRI maps import

ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) is an international supplier of geographic information system (GIS) software, web GIS, and geodatabase management applications. There are probably millions of maps and other vector content available in ESRI format. MyDraw supports the importing of ESRI geospatial data with many advanced options. This makes MyDraw the perfect viewer for any type of vector data defined in ESRI format.
